Triumph Trident T150V

The bike has been totally stripped over the 2013/2014 winter with no expense spared, all cycle parts have been either re-chromed replaced several hand made parts have been, polished with new stainless steel fixings throughout.

The only deviation from standard is the fitting of a new Robinson period front brake with 230mm double sided twin leading shoes, to give better braking than original.

The wheels have been stripped new bearings fitted and the rear hub polished before being rebuilt with alloy rims and new Avon tyres fitted.

As part of the complete rebuild all engine casings were vapour blasted and then refaced, the crankshaft was reground, new valves, valve guides and springs fitted, every oil seal and lock tab in the engine has been replaced etc.

New Norman Hyde clutch plate and Norman Hyde special oil pump was fitted, I have used a Rob North belt primary drive to help smooth engine take up and reduce chain maintenance.

The frame, petrol tank and side covers were repainted in standard colour scheme, and the petrol tank hand gold lined.

The Rebuild was started on 23rd Dec 2013 and completed on 28th Feb 2014

Apart from the crankshaft regrind, all engine work has been done by myself, the front brake torque arms were made my son and then polished several other cycle parts such as the original plastic seat catch pull knob have been replaced with handmade stainless steel items.  Below; right is new Robinson brake.
