Seeley Triumph (Boyer) 750 1971

Stan Shenton boss of Boyer of Bromley a Triumph agent and sponsors of David Nixon and Peter Butler, requested a Seeley frame unit to suit a Triumph triple. The frame which was designed and drawn by Bob Cakebread and built by Jack Wren.' Colin Seeley Racing Developments would go on to build a total of 9 Triumph frames for Boyer and a solitary BSA example for Dave Croxford,

In our bike the engine is original 1972 750cc Triumph Trident T150 with a 4-speed gear box. The engine has been totally rebuilt, with improved oil system, belt primary drive, new Amal performance carburettors and of course Boyer ignition, and lots of lightened and polished bits in side.

The Seeley full loop frame is new in 2018 built by Roger Tichmarsh who is licenced by Colin Seeley to produce the frames today using the original jigs and drawings, seat, oil tank and petrol tank are all taken from the original templates.

The front forks are Seeley fitted with AP Lockheed racing single disc the rear brake is Triumph fitted with AP Lockheed racing single disc and calliper, the 3 into 1 exhaust is made to original design but to meet modern regulations has removal baffles to reduce noise levels at some circuits.

The bike is used at CRMC events and Spa and the isle of Man Classic TT
