Neil Brailsford

I started racing in 1966 on a rather slow Triumph 350 and soon progressed to an ex works DerekMinter 250 Cotton, using a Gardiner carb which was extremly fast but prone to breakdowns and threw me down the road in a big way at Lydden circuit in 1969.

I saw the light and changed to 4 strokes and a 250 Ducati replaced the Cotton and later a 350 ducati along with a the first ever Seeley fitted with a DB34 Gold Star  joined my stable which I raced up to late 1985 when  i retired from competitive racing

I raced with BEMSEE in the 4 stroke class, Newmarket club and also in the very first CRMC events, as well as many other events in the UK and some international events in Europe , also took part in the Hutchinson 100 race run in reverse direction at Brands Hatch

Martin Brailsford

I spent many of my childhood weekends at race circuits all over the UK watching Dad, and helping with all the jobs etc. so it seemed natural that I should ride and now race bikes as well as him. I now have the chance and the bikes to actually get on so many of  the circuits I knew from childhood.

Martin Races the Seeley Suzuki 500 in  CRMC events and finished 6th overall in 2022 champeonship
